For sale I have a 3 year old Mens Claud Butler Cape Wrath Mountain Bike.

I bought this Mountain bike 3 years ago for 600 quid online (this was a discounted price) with the intention of getting into cycling again so I thought Id splash the cash on a really good quality bike.

Genuinely, the bike got used about half a dozen times after the initial purchase - Since then its sat in my shed since 2006 and not been used ONCE. Its only been moved around when Ive needed stuff out the shed. The tires on the bike still have the little sticky out bits on it they have not yet worn away properly!

The bike is in 95% new condition (There are a few little marks here and there). The only little gripe is, some black paint has flaked off the rear brake lever assembly (not the lever itselef), Im assuming due to time. Some black kids model paint would make that bit look perfect again.

The bike has front and rear mudguards which I put on as soon as I bought it. Other than that, its all as it should be!


Im looking for 250 for this bike. Im in no rush to sell and I think this is fair, its a very well made high spec bike. You could lift it up with your pinky. Its got front and rear disc brakes which work VERY well.

As for the frame size Im not sure. If you measure from the floor to the bit where the seat stalk goes in, its approx 31 inches (I have no idea how to measure mountain bike frame sizes)
