City centre organisation requires someones for 3 months to

· deliver an accurate administration and accounting service for the investments of the pension funds within tight reporting deadlines. Accounting for all transactions and ensuring all income is collected on time and distributed to the appropriate fund.

· provide financial accounting services in respect of the non-investment receipts and payments of the Division including the accurate recording of transactions; the reconciliation of bank balances and transactions between systems.

It is essential that candidates have had previous practical experience in investment accounting procedures. The high value of transaction values and volumes means that there is a strong emphasis on providing robust accounting controls and controlling risk. Therefore a good aptitude for figures and an eye for detail are also essential.

Candidates MUST have previously used the ICON system.

An Investment Administration Qualification (IAQ) is preferable but not essential.
