My name is Valerie Kemp. I have established an organisation to promote professional tuition across Scotland - Tutors' Alliance Ltd. I have used my own experience as a languages tutor to develop Tutors' Alliance and give tutors a way to show they are serious about private tuition.

Tutors' Alliance provides free information and advice for parents and pupils about all aspects of tuition as well as providing contact details of Tutors' Alliance members. All members of Tutors' Alliance must have a Disclosure Scotland check. You will have the peace of mind of knowing your tutor has been externally and professionally vetted without having to pay administration fees.

For tutors, Tutors' Alliance provides annual membership which includes online advertising and our innovative Tutor Check service. We are not an agency and so you are free to set your own rates and terms. If you are a tutor looking to belong to a professional organisation which promotes and furthers your interests, Tutors' Alliance membership is for you.
