I thought I'd take the plunge and put an advert on here.

To give you some background info, I'm now a director of a financial practice. I guess I have really focused on that for the past 3 years and probably neglected my social life to a large degree. I am now in a position to seek a good balance and begin dating again.

Although no oil painting myself (photo attached!) there does have to be an attraction although I go far more for the personality. Age to me is probably irrelevant to a point, ideally you will be aged between 20 and 45. I don't mind if you have a son/daughter too. We all have a history.

I live in Edinburgh and love the city. I’m from southern England originally and have been up here for 5 years now and love it.

I also have 2 wonderful young daughters who I dote on (aged 3 1/2 and 2 years). I usually get them every other weekend and sometimes during the week too. They are both no trouble at all too and sleep for Scotland!

I'm very easy going, confident and cheeky too! I'm ambitious in my professional life and want to achieve more to give my kids a head start in life that I never had.

I get on with people from all walks life, I have to do that in my job and it crosses over into my personal life too, think it's important to show people respect.

Interest wise I’m into sports - football & rugby league. I also love days out and weekends away. I’m not a regular drinker at all but a few drinks now and again is fine by me. I also try my hand at cooking too – nothing spectacular but I’ve not burnt the kitchen to the ground either!

Music is probably my main passion – where on earth would we be without it. I have such a wide ranging taste it’s untrue – I’m probably more into indie right now but to give you an idea these are some of the artists and genres I currently like are;

Athlete, Keane, Kaiser Chiefs, The Enemy, Stone Roses, Oasis, The Jam, Paul Weller, REM, Coldplay, The Doves, Jamiroquai, Deacon Blue, Hue & Cry, Beautiful South and loads of 80’s tunes too.

Gives you a flavour anyway :-)
