Goose Green HomeCare Ltd has been providing high quality care to elderly and disabled residents in the East & Midlothian areas since 2001 and in the last year, our dedicated team helped care for over 200 clients.

In response to organisational change as a result of our rapid expansion, we are recruiting a part-time Care Worker to provide high quality care (social, domestic, personal care & support) to our clients to help them live independently at home. It is a very varied role and at the same time, a very rewarding one.

The successful candidate will work the following 2 week rota pattern:

Week 1 - Wed, Thurs, Fri : 7.00am-11.00am
Week 2 - Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun : 7.00am-11.00am

Specific experience isn’t essential – what counts is that you have good communication and observational skills, a caring responsible attitude and empathy with our clients. You must have a full driving licence and access to a car. A satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure Scotland also a requirement.

In return,we offer excellent working conditions including a competitive hourly rate (£7.00 per hour & time + 1/2 for weekend working), 28 days annual leave (pro-rata for part-time staff), mileage allowance, full induction traning with ongoing training & support, and will help you progress towards SVQ Level 2 in Care.
