Our client, an established consultancy are currently seeking a Hydrologist/ Project Engineer to join their Water Environment team in their Edinburgh office.
Your role will involve activities such as flood risk assessment, report writing coupled with civil engineering design.
To carry out this role you will possess a sound understanding of hydraulics as well as British hydrology. You will have demonstrable experience and understanding in both civil design and civil engineering techniques. Alongside these skills you will also possess working knowledge of SUDS principles/ techniques and 2D hydraulic modelling techniques paired with excellent communication and report writing skills.
You will be a qualified Civil Engineer, ideally with full membership of ICE or CIWEM.
