Through a public sector contract, Blue Arrow Catering have various positions available in the Edinburgh Area for trained assistant cooks.

Successful candidates will report into the Site supervisor or Head Cook, and expected duties will include the preparation and production of the following (as an example):

Macaroni cheese
Lasagne
Home Made Soups from scratch
Home made gravy
Home made white sauce

Candidates should have a current basic food hygiene certificate, and be able to pass a disclosure Scotland background check.

Hours vary depending on location, however, all rotas are working during the day between Monday and Friday. Latest expected finish time is 4pm.

These roles carry an hourly pay rate of £7.10 , and are ongoing within the educational calendar.
