now has an excellent opportunity available for a Conference & Banqueting Co-ordinator to join our Conference and Banqueting Team.
Purpose:
To ensure the efficient and smooth running of the Conference & Banqueting department, dealing with guest enquiries in a professional and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
Handle incoming calls for the Conference & Banqueting Department and ensure that all customer requests and enquiries are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner.
Ensure all reservations are accepted, recorded and confirmed in accordance with company standard.
Ensure accurate and complete entries in Fidelio reservations system in accordance with established procedures.
Liaise with the F&B and C&B Managers in relation to conference and meeting bookings.
Conduct property visits for prospective clients and communicate all hotel services in a warm and friendly manner.
Send out contracts and all related correspondence in a timely fashion.
Provide administrative support to the Conference & Banqueting team.
Assist with the co-ordination of corporate hospitality events.
Assist in the smooth running of the Reservations and Conference & Banqueting departments.

The ideal candidate for this position:
Must have previous experience in a similar role
Must be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of service
Must be standards driven and detail-orientated
Must have the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
Must have excellent self-presentation
