On Thursday 14th August I posted an add to try to find our lost cat (male, 9 months old, neutered, black and white) and later that evening Emma Boyd from SSPCA e-mailed me to say she may have taken him to their Rehoming Centre in Balerno.

We went out there today and now have our much loved Korky back home. Hamish is chuffed to bits and as I write this e-mail they are both lying on the chair cuddled up to each other.

A HUGE thank you to Emma and her colleagues is the very least I can do. We can now get back to normal although it saddens me to hear of others who have lost their pets and wish a happy outcome to all.

Once again, thank you EMMA BOYD, you are a true hero in our eyes.
