Eden Scott's client is a premier provider of global investment management, risk management and advisory services to institutional and retail clients around the world with a requirement for a and experienced UK Payroller to jointhe team on a 3 month contract.

Role

* Ensure that the payroll vendor(s) meets all SLAs including timely processing of payroll and associated tax payment and tax reporting
* Ad hoc processing, ie bonus and equity payments, as well as system/process enhancements
* Originate projects that lower the cost of payroll processing, i.e. change vendor, automate current manual processes etc.
* Ensure cost effective controls are in place across the payroll process for purposes of preventing economic loss and a high quality end product
* Set up and test appropriate disaster recovery procedures for team

Requirements

* Excellent personnel skills

* Excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with a variety of groups both within the finance group and the wider business

* Understanding of UK payroll

* Understanding of establishing a solid control infrastructure within day to day process

* Strong preference for managing a stay back team for a fully outsourced payroll solution
