Hey everyone, my new cage arrived this morning, and it looks great.... except it didn't come with the bottom tray, and was missing two wheels. It's a Tall Chinchilla, so without the base there is no bottom, just a hole. I called my supplier, and they said as it was the last one in stock, and the missing tray was probably taken out to replace someone base which arrived damaged, they would refund me because it couldn;t be replaced. Because it was missing pieces, they said they didn't want it sent back, which meant that i could keep it for free, which was the only good thing to happen today;)

However this does leave me without a base, which means its not very usable. i cant block it off with wood, as the bars don't come apart without completly taking it apart, and it would be difficult to clean. I don't mind so much about the wheels, but not having a tray makes the cage basically unusable, so i need to get one.

So, does anyone know where i can get a replacement base for this type of cage, or know anyone who has a spare i can borrow until i can find one?


i know its a tall request, but i really do need a base.
