Hr Assistant
The Role:
An ongoing temporary assignment has arisen within a small HR department of a highly regarded organisation.
The post will be a varied and demanding post, ensuring acting as a first point of contact for all HR issues, providing support to staff members of all levels, delivering high quality staffing administration, complying within company HR policy.
Duties include:
- Providing advice and guidance on HR administration - for example promotions, gradings, contracts, absence, maternity / paternity leave etc., ensuring employees are treated within company policy
- Reviewing and developing HR procedure to support business needs
- Representing staff members on committees / working groups, discussing HR policy
- Providing regular MI reports to various internal staff, using internal systems
- Contract management using database system
- Assisting with recruitment process, including drafting job specifications, gaining approval for posts, advertising posts, arranging interviews
- Ensuring compliance with staff appraisal process
- General administrative tasks
