Nikon 8700 mid-way slr 8 megapixels and 8x optical zoom = 300mm lens

there is a viewfinder and an lcd screen thats like the one on a video camera and can move around for self portraits and awquard shots that most cameras cant manage

also there is a b&w screen on the top of the camera that displays all the info on the shooting mode and so on.

shutter speed goes up to 4000

there are also many modes of shooting with continous and high speed shots
