Very rare & unusual Carltonware jug - approx 7 inches tall and 4 inches square- not sure of the date, possibly 50's/60's but may be later. Has a diiferent bird front & back - in excellent condition, no chips or cracks, gilding is not worn at all, there is a faint mark on one side which I haven't been able to remove with gentle cleaning but it is very faint.
