My client are a well known, successful organisation who design and manufacture a range of electronic products. They are based in West Edinburgh, close to the Airport.

They currently require a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expanding team.

Role Profile:
Mechanical Design Engineer - designing, detailing and development of a range of machined, cast, plated parts. Taking from concept through the design and development stage and into production, parts and projects from multi-disciplined teams.

* They use Autodesk Inventor, any mainstream 3D CAD package would be fine.
* 3D Design and 2D Drawing experience.
* Prototype and testing.
* Working with a multi-disciplined team.
* Strong technical skills and high standard of accuracy.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
* Good grasp of fundamental mechanical engineering principles with a willingness to both adapt and develop skills.
* Ability to think outside of your specialism and integrate within multi-discipline teams.
* Highly motivated and willing to take on new challenges. Ability to work with concepts and turn them into production parts.
