Dynamic and growing recruitment business that specialises in Care and Support, requires an Office Manger for the Edinburgh area.

You will normally be required to work at 1 Coates Place, Edinburgh, EH3 7AA.

Hours requested are 40 per week, 9.00am. To 5.30pm. Monday to Friday.
You may be required to work additional hours when authorised and as necessitated by the needs of the business. This may include covering the On Call system.

£8.50 per hour . Any authorised additional hours will be paid at your normal hourly rate of pay.

DUTIES
The role will involve administration such as data entry, answering calls, taking messages, diverting phone calls, utilising MS Word and Excel.
Responsible for taking staffing requests from clients.
Dealing with client enquiries, visiting projects as and when necessary.
Responsible for placing individual support staff with projects, responding to projects staffing requests on a daily basis.
The role will involve managing a team of 4 internal staff and all agency members.
Providing support and supervision as required.
Making recruitment decisions, reporting back to Director's and Managing Director.
Maintaining accurate recruitment records such as staff availability and suitability for placements.
The role will eventually include out of hours “On Call” duties, to be confirmed on a rolling rota system. This will not be expected immediately and will be paid in addition to hourly rate.
This role is subject to 4 weeks trial probation period.

ESSENTIAL
Excellent organisational skills
Candidate must be confident and familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel packages.
Confident of carrying out office duties such as communicating via email and fax.
Excellent telephone manner.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Willing to carry out “On Call” duties as requested.

DESIRABLE
Background of working within voluntary sector
Background knowledge of working with vulnerable adults
Previous recruitment experience
Qualification or experience in managing people
